I Quit Faceless Videos—Here’s What I’m Doing Instead

If you’ve ever scrolled through YouTube or TikTok and seen creators earning hundreds with faceless videos, you’re not alone. I was one of them—hooked by the idea of “easy” passive income. So, I tried. I spent months creating and posting faceless content. The result? Zero dollars.

No engagement, no momentum, and a growing sense of burnout. I had to make a choice: either keep pushing a strategy that wasn’t working or pivot.

So, I chose to pivot—and now I’m focusing entirely on blogging, Pinterest, and my YouTube channel Life with Nayomi. Here’s why this shift makes sense for me, and maybe for you too.

Why I Gave Up on Faceless Videos

Let’s be real—faceless content sounds like a dream. But in reality:

  • It’s oversaturated
  • It requires time, editing tools, and strategy
  • And worst of all, it’s hard to build a real connection with your audience

I invested $200–$300 in tools and templates. I created, edited, and posted. But the views didn’t come, and neither did the income.

Why Blogging Feels Right

Blogging gives me control. I can build a brand, share value, and create long-form content that’s searchable and evergreen. I use AI tools like:

With blogging, each post becomes a long-term asset. And with Pinterest and Instagram, I can drive consistent traffic back to my blog.

Why Pinterest Is My New Secret Weapon

Unlike social media posts that fade fast, Pinterest pins have a much longer lifespan. One good pin can bring traffic for months. It’s visual, it’s SEO-friendly, and it pairs perfectly with blogging.

I design my pins with Canva, then post daily using Pinterest’s native scheduler.

And What About YouTube?

This time, I’m showing up with my voice, my face, and my story. No more hiding behind stock videos. My channel Life with Nayomi is now a space where I document my journey—honestly.

Whether it’s testing affiliate strategies or sharing lessons from blogging, I’m building something real. No fake income claims. Just real growth, one step at a time.

Final Thoughts

Quitting faceless videos wasn’t failure—it was redirection. I’m now focused on building something authentic, and it feels more aligned than ever.

If you’re struggling with the pressure to copy what everyone else is doing, maybe it’s time to carve your own path. AI can help—but only if you’re honest about what really works for you.
